About StateFauna

StateFauna is a field guide to the snakes, spiders and scorpions of each U.S. state, built from biodiversity records in GBIF. It is published by BiLingoPlus LLC. There is no invented expert behind it: every list is computed from data, and the methodology explains how.

This edition uses GBIF records read 2026-09-29. The site is rebuilt only when the records are read again, and every page shows the date of the records it uses.
